Overview
Majority of women experience heavy bleeding and irregular menstrual cycles when they reach their forties. This condition is usually caused by hormonal issues. Most of the time, the condition goes away on its own but in some cases a surgical procedure is required to reduce or stop the bleeding. Losing a large amount of blood with every menstrual cycle can lead to anaemia or iron deficiency.

Make an appointment right away if any worrisome symptoms appear.
Treatment
Patients with prolonged conditions of urentine disease often lose a lot of blood with each cycle. Uterus removal surgery may be required to save a patient’s life.
There are normally two surgical options presented to the patient. One is an open surgery where a large incision is made to take out the uterus; the other is a laparoscopic surgery which is the most popular choice of surgeons and patients as it is performed with small incisions. The recovery period is quick and leaves almost no scars.
Our team of surgeons is known as the pioneers of laparoscopic procedures in Pakistan. They have been performing successful uterus removal procedures since the last 15 years in collaboration with gynecologists.
